Parcel Appeal 2008 Update!

We would like to thank all of the individuals, veterinary practices and veterinary suppliers who have donated items to our Parcel Appeal. In July and August alone we have sent out over £60,000 worth of drugs and equipment, helping 70 of our associated charities!

We could not have achieved this without the help of our generous supporters. Please do keep the donations coming in!

Donation of Pro Meris sent to troops in Afghanistan

Earlier this year WVS received an urgent request for dog flea and tick treatments to help treat the local animals in Afghanistan. Thanks to a generous donation of Pro Meris from Fort Dodge, WVS was able to send treatments out straight away.

If you would like to make a donation to our Parcel Appeal to help us to send out essential parcels like this please click the donate button below.

Reading to Paris Cycle Ride!!

In May this year a team of Veterinary Nurses from Beechwood Veterinary Practice in Southern England cycled from their practice in Reading all the way to Paris to raise funds and awareness for Worldwide Veterinary Service.

Helen Shreeve, Samara Cohen, Marie Higgins and Hollie Ridges all completed the 189 mile ride in 5 days, supported by Marcus Evans and Peter Ridges. The team worked incredibly hard, not just during the cycle ride but fundraising as well, holding street collections and a summer fete and dog show!

It’s not too late to make a donation to show your support and you can see more information about the cycle, including the route and a daily blog, from their online fundraising page.
