Prevent the death of one child

everyday…

for just £3 a month

India has the highest prevalence of rabies in the world. On average 30,000 people a year die from the direct result of being bitten by  rabid dog. 60% of those bitten are children under the age of 15 (WHO 2009).

Through direct action, widespread animal vaccination campaigns, and working with the Indian governement, WVS have pledged to reduce the incidence of fatalities resulting from rabid dog bites by 5% over the next three years. Statistically that will be equivalent of preventing the death of 1 child under the age of 15, everyday.

One canine rabies vaccination for cost £3.
