Life-saving Lasers

We’re excited to be launching our Spring Appeal: Purchasing an incredible laser for each of our two Indian Training Centres!!

Since the beginning, India has been at the heart of our work, from parcels to volunteers, surgical courses to outreach clinics. The teams at our two International Training Centres in India (Ooty and Goa) are striving forward with their phenomenal work treating emergency cases, providing sterilisations and improving the level of animal welfare. We want to ensure more animals than ever before can access the life-saving treatment they need at these centres.

This spring we are asking for your help to raise £20,000 to purchase two LiteCure lasers to help more animals in need.

Last year, our ITC in Thailand was lucky enough to receive an amazing donation from Companion Animal Health: a LiteCure Laser! This piece of equipment has been invaluable in treating a range of animals who arrive at our centre with skin injuries and degloving lesions and can now be treated much quicker and without the need for invasive surgery.

As part of our refurbishment plans for the Hicks ITC in Goa and to help the team at ITC India in Ooty, we want to make sure the animals of India also receive this same level of treatment and can benefit from such incredible equipment. These lasers will make a life-saving difference to the animals treated at our ITCs and prove an incredible addition to the veterinary care provided, but in order to make this a reality, we need your help!!

We need to raise £20,000 to make this possible. This will cover the cost of the lasers, shipment and training for our vets on this new equipment. The impact these lasers will have is huge and they have the potential to help thousands of animals in need of treatment. To help us make a real difference to the lives of animals for years to come, please donate to our campaign page.

If you would like to hear more about the laser in action, read Bella’s story, our first patient at ITC Thailand to receive treatment with this equipment. Thanks to this innovative new technology, Bella recovered fully and after just nine sessions of laser treatment, she was ready to go home!

With your help, we can help thousands of animals just like Bella, by treating wounds and promoting healthy tissue growth to allow a speedy and effective recovery without intrusive surgery.

Please donate today and help us purchase a laser for each of our Indian ITCs to make this work possible!
